One can spend too long on the internet. No honest, one really can. Where, exactly did Sunday go? I’ve been sat at this computer for most of the afternoon and evening polishing this here blog. Still I know a lot more about blogs, RSS, Creative Commons and coding than I did this morning. I spent most of the time enabling all the web-trickery you can hopefully see either side of this text. But I am now seeing code when I close my eyes and have the shakes through a combination of nicotine overdose and staring at the monitor for far, far too long.
I wonder if parents still tell their children to not sit so close to the TV? I guess not, as both they and their kids must spend half their waking lives in front of a monitor of some description. Perhaps now they just criticise them for spending too long on teeny social networks, like Hi5 and Faceparty, as it is bad for their intellect.
